Taxonomy
Anadara (Anadara) zotlangensis was named by Tiwari (2001) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Miocene; India.]. Its type specimen is PUC/I/27, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Upper Bhuban Fm - Loc. 9, which is in a Miocene shoreface sandstone in the Upper Bhuban Formation of India.
