Turritella (Broderiptella) caronensis

Taxonomy
Turritella gatunensis caronensis was named by Mansfield (1925) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene; Trinidad and Tobago.]. Its type specimen is USNM 352678, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Turritella caronensis by Mansfield (1925); it was recombined as Turritella (Broderiptella) caronensis by Landau et al. (2008) and Landau and Marques da Silva (2010).
