Taxonomy
Anomphalus jaggerius was named by Plas (1972). Its type specimen is X-3408, a shell (X-3408), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP D-5252, Lookout Hill, Southern Arrow Canyon Range, which is in an Artinskian shallow subtidal limestone in the Bird Spring Formation of Nevada.
