Taxonomy
Filiconcha hillae was named by Dear (1969). Its type specimen is UQF 10996a and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is GSQ D204, Banana-Barfield Road, which is in a Wuchiapingian coastal siliciclastic in the Flat Top Formation of Australia.
