Paleomarcia sculpta was named by Fletcher (1938) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene; Southern Ocean.]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is West of Cat's Ears, which is in a Miocene/Miocene coastal sandstone in French Southern Territories.
