Taxonomy
Ctenoceras sweeti was named by Kröger and Isakar (2006). Its type specimen is TUG 46-146, a shell, and it is a cast. Its type locality is Osmussaar Island, which is in a Lasnamagi open shallow subtidal limestone in the Väo Formation of Estonia.
