Balkoceras gracile
Taxonomy
Balkoceras gracile was named by Flower (1964). Its type specimen is RHF 307, a shell, and it is a cast. Its type locality is Threadgill Creek section (San Saba Limestone), which is in a Trempealeauan shallow subtidal grainstone in the Wilberns Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Balkoceras.
