Pollicina corniculum

Cyrtolithes corniculum was named by d'Eichwald (1860) [= Cyrtoceras laeve d’Eichwald 1842 p. 71 pl. 3 f. 5-6 not Murchison 1839;
= Cyrtoceras ?multicameratum de la Touche 1884 p. 56 pl. 2 f. 47]. Its type specimen is Museum of the Department of Historical Geology, St. Petersburg University, E. Eichwald collection no. 4/22 (lectotype), a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pulkovo, Asaphus raniceps, which is in a Kunda carbonate wackestone/packstone in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Pollicina corniculum by Holzapfel (1895), Kisselev (1994) and Evans and Cope (2003).
