Pleuroacanthites is a genus. It is not extant. Its type is Ammonites biformis. It is the type genus of Pleuroacanthitidae.

It was assigned to Ammonoidea by Sepkoski (2002); to Pleuroacanthitidae by Yin et al. (2007); and to Pleuroacanthinae by Hoffmann (2010).
