Biropristis landbecki

Taxonomy
Biropristis landbecki was named by Suarez and Cappetta (2004). Its type specimen is SGO-PV-800, a set of teeth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Algarrobo Cretaceous, which is in a Cretaceous marine sandstone/conglomerate in the Estratos de Quebrada Municipalidad Formation of Chile. It is the type species of Biropristis.
