Taxonomy
Pseudoceltites darvazicus was named by Shevyrev (1990). Its type specimen is PIN 4184/2 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Iokun'zh Creek, Khozretishi Range, which is in a Smithian marine horizon in the Alikagarskaya Formation of Tajikistan.
