Protosuchus haughtoni
Taxonomy
Baroqueosuchus haughtoni was named by Busbey and Gow (1984). It is not extant. Its type specimen is BP-1-4746. Its type locality is Farm Sunnyside (1178) (Upper Elliot), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian terrestrial sandstone in the Elliot Formation of South Africa.
It was recombined as Protosuchus haughtoni by Gow (2000), Nesbitt (2011).
