Taxonomy
Capillomesolobus heritschi was named by Pečar (1986). Its type specimen is KGPL 5358, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dolzanova Soteska, which is in an Asselian carbonate reef rocks in Slovenia.
