Taxonomy
Peachella was named by Walcott (1910) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Tojo]. Its type is Olenellus iddingsi.

It was replaced with Peachocaris by Schram (1984).

It was assigned to Mesonacidae by Walcott (1910); to Biceratopsinae by Palmer and Repina (1993); to Olenellidae by Palmer and Halley (1979) and Whittington et al. (1997); and to Olenellida by Sepkoski (2002).

A. R. Palmer and L. N. Repina 1993Biceratopsinae with posterior margin of cephalon nearly straight. Glabella extended to or nearly to border furrow. Posterior tips of ocular lobes approximately opposite position of Sl. Genal spines at posterolateral corners or slightly advanced, strongly inflated. Opisthothorax of at least 10 segments.
