Taxonomy
Peia jurongensis was named by Li (2009). It is not extant. Its type specimen is BMNHC PVF141. Its type locality is Qingshan Quarry, Jurong (Zhejiang Museum coll), which is in a Smithian carbonate limestone in the Qinglong Formation of China.
