Nemegtbaatar gobiensis

Taxonomy
Nemegtbaatar gobiensis was named by Kielan-Jaworowska (1974). Its type specimen is ZPAL MgM-I/81, a partial skeleton (almost complete skull, crushed dorsoventrally with mandibles and partial postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khermeen Tsav II, Middle Red Beds [PMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial sandstone in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Nemegtbaatar.
