Matutites miltonorum
Taxonomy
Matutites miltonorum was named by Feldmann et al. (1998). Its type specimen is CM 36023, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lanier Quarry (CM collection), which is in a Bartonian deep subtidal limestone in the Castle Hayne Formation of North Carolina.
