Taxonomy
Pseudotirolites acutus was named by Chao and Liang (1965). Its type specimen is NIGP 14922 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Liuhualing, Qianjiang, Laibin County, which is in a Changhsingian deep-water siliciclastic in the Dalong Formation of China.
