Metalegoceras sogurense
Taxonomy
Asianites sogurensis was named by Ruzhentsev (1933). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sogur-Say River, Tabantal basin, Aktyubinsk region, which is in an Artinskian marine conglomerate in the Baigendzhin Formation of Kazakhstan.
It was recombined as Metalegoceras sogurense by Ruzhentsev (1956) and Leonova (2002).
