Quasifusulinoides was named by Rauser-Chernousova (1959) [Sepkoski's age data: C Step-l P Sakm]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Quasifusulininae by Davydov and Krainer (1999); to Foraminiferida by Sepkoski (2002); to Fusulinidae by Rauser-Chernousova (1959) and Kobayashi and Altiner (2008); and to Fusulininae by Bensh (1972) and Okuyucu (2009).
