Taxonomy
Cryoturris serta was named by Fargo (1953) [TYPE LOCALITY: Pliocene of North St. Petersburg, Florida MAX. SIZE: 10 mm DISTRIBUTION: ABC Islands: Curacao]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Kurtziella (Cryoturris) serta by Perrilliat and Flores-Guerrero (2011).
