Rhodanodolichotis antepridiana was named by Walton (1990) [Etymology pridianus: of yesterday. Antepridianus: from the day before yesterday.]. Its type specimen is UCMP 41671, a mandible ( left mandible with p4-m3), and it is a 3D body fossil.
