Taxonomy
Acrochordiceras dimidiatum was named by Waagen (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Siranki-Dok, Upper Ceratite Limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Smithian coastal sandstone in the Upper Ceratite Limestone Formation of Pakistan.
