Stegoceras novomexicanum
Taxonomy
Stegoceras novomexicanum was named by Jasinski and Sullivan (2011). Its type specimen is NMMNH P-33898, a partial skull (frontoparietal), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NMMNH L-3097, which is in a Campanian terrestrial shale in the Fruitland Formation of New Mexico.
