Mourasuchus atopus

Taxonomy
Nettosuchus atopus was named by Langston (1965). Its type specimen is UCMP 38012, a partial skeleton (Fragmentary skull and jaws and associated postcranial elements), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP Locality V-4523, which is in a Laventan terrestrial claystone in Colombia.

It was recombined as Mourasuchus atopus by Langston (1966), Bocquentin Villanueva (1984), Langston and Gasparini (1997), Riff et al. (2010) and Tineo et al. (2015).
