IGM 184247, right horizontal ramus with almost complete m2, and broken m3-4; left mandibular frgment with m2-3 complete; fragment of left symphysis; very fragmentary left frontolacrimal portion of the skull, and associated, very fragmentated postcranial material.

Taxonomy
Anachlysictis gracilis was named by Goin (1997) [Etymology: from the latin gracilis, slender]. Its type specimen is IGM 184247, a mandible (Lower p2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Duke Locality 75 (La Venta Fauna), which is in a Laventan/Mayoan fluvial claystone/sandstone in the Villavieja Formation of Colombia. It is the type species of Anachlysictis.

Goin 1997Differs from Achlysictis lelongi in its smaller size, mandible much more slender and with the symphyseal flange much less developed; lower premolar double-rooted and apparently not conical; lower molars, except m4, with small but distinct talonids; distance from m4 to mandibular condule comparatively much longer; masseteric fosa much better developed; facial portion of skull apparently flat with the ascending process of the maxillary very reduced of lacking; postorbital bar absent.
