Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
A. Archangelsky and M. Llorens 2005Trilete microspore, amb triangular, with rounded angles and straight to concave sides. Laesurae simple and straight with rays extending from 1/2 to 4/5 of the spore radius. Sculptural elements are mainly spines with a broad base and acute apex sometimes curved, accompanied in less proportion by cones, bacula, granules and mameliform processes (limited to the proximal face, close to the lesurae). Sculptural elements density is very variable though generally they are more densely disposed on the angles, distal face and laesurae border. On the proximal face they are smaller and present a lower density. Exine thick divided in two layers.
