Taxonomy
Amarassites levis was named by Tatzreiter (1980). Its type specimen is GBA 1980/03/57 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is C16, Bihati block C, near Baun, which is in an Alaunian carbonate limestone in Indonesia.
