Taxonomy
Delphinella pectinata was named by Arkadiev and Bogdanova (2005). Its type specimen is TsNIGR 39/13055, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cape St. Ilya, unit 8, which is in a Berriasian marine siltstone/marl in Ukraine.
