Taxonomy
Orthisina marginata was named by Pahlen (1877). It is the type species of Estlandia.

It was recombined as Gonambonites marginatus by Opik (1930); it was recombined as Estlandia marginata by Pahlen (1877), Opik (1934), Alikhova (1953) and Rubel (1963).
