Taxonomy
Ancyloceras pseudoarmatum was named by Schluter (1872). It is the type species of Neocrioceras (Schlueterella).

It was recombined as Pseudoxybeloceras (Schlueterella) pseudoarmatum by Kennedy and Summesberger (1999).
