Taxonomy
Nejdia furnishi was named by Arkell (1952). Its type specimen is SM F10685, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 57, Jafair Trail (Aramco S-1033), which is in a Bifrons carbonate limestone in the Marrat Formation of Saudi Arabia.
