It was recombined as Fossarius munitus by Casey (1961); it was recombined as Nododelphinula munita by Kase (1983); it was recombined as Palangaria munitus by Mongin and Peyhernes (1985); it was recombined as Hanaispira munitus by Calzada and Kier (2012).
