Mierasaurus bobyoungi
Taxonomy
Mierasaurus bobyoungi was named by Royo-Torres et al. (2017). Its type specimen is UMNH.VP.26004, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Doelling's Bowl Bonebed (UMNH VP Loc. 1208), which is in a Berriasian/Valanginian terrestrial chert in the Cedar Mountain Formation of Utah.
