Babelichthys olneyi

Taxonomy
Babelichthys olneyi was named by Davesne (2017). Its type specimen is MNHN F.EIP11, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Near Town-of-Ilam, which is in an Eocene/Eocene marine horizon in the Pabdeh Formation of Iran. It is the type species of Babelichthys.
