Taxonomy
Ischyrinia viator was named by Ebbestad et al. (2017) [= 1994 Ischyrinia sp. – Rhebergen, p. 56]. Its type specimen is RGM.1332182 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zwolle, which is in an Idavere/Johvi carbonate chert in the Haljala Erratics Formation of the Netherlands.
