Eurheloderma was named by Hoffstetter (1957). It is not extant. Its type is Eurheloderma gallicum.

It was assigned to Helodermatidae by Estes (1983), Carroll (1988), Augé (2005); and to Monstersauria by Yi and Norell (2013).
