Taxonomy
Pseudopus confertus was named by Klembara and Rummel (2018). Its type specimen is NMP Pv 10028, a partial skull (frontal), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Merkur-North, which is in an Orleanian fluvial-lacustrine marl/coal in the Most Formation of the Czech Republic.
