Cytharella branneri
Taxonomy
Mangilia (Cythara) branneri was named by Arnold (1903). It is extant. Its type specimen is USNM 333134, a shell. Its type locality is Deadman Island area - Lower San Pedro Series (1900s-1950s) [San Pedro Sand], which is in a Pleistocene coastal sandstone in the San Pedro Sand Formation of California.
It was recombined as Cytharella branneri by Oldroyd (1925); it was recombined as Mangelia branneri by Hendy (2021).
