Santanaraptor placidus

Taxonomy
Santanaraptor placidus was named by Kellner (1999). Its type specimen is MN 4802-V, a partial skeleton, and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Santana do Cariri (general), which is in an Albian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Santana Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Santanaraptor.
