Chungkingosaurus jiangbeiensis

Taxonomy
Chungkingosaurus jiangbeiensis was named by Dong et al. (1983). Its type specimen is CV 00206, a partial skeleton, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Maoershi, Jiangbei, which is in an Oxfordian terrestrial horizon in the Shangshaximiao Formation of China. It is the type species of Chungkingosaurus. It was considered monophyletic by Maidment and Wei (2006).
