Eunotosaurus africanus

Taxonomy
Eunotosaurus africanus was named by Seeley (1892). Its type specimen is BMNH R1968, a partial skeleton (trunk vertebrae and associated ribs), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Weltevreden (Prince Albert), which is in a Capitanian dry floodplain mudstone in the Abrahamskraal Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Eunotosaurus.
