K. Weitzel 1935Hassiacosuchus haupti n.g. n.sp. is a crocodilia with an exceptionally short head; according to the teeth and maxillae it is very similar to the American genus Allognathosuchus MOOK, but form of skull and sutures of the skull roof are different. Orbita big; upper temporal fenestrae close together, bigger than lower temporal fenestrae. Lacrimal border on nasal, frontal does not extend to the edge of upper temporal fenestra. Symphysis short, the swallen base of splenial is part of symphysis. Last three teeth of upper maxilla and last four teeth of lower maxilla strong, broad with rounded crowns.
