Zarhachis flagellator
Taxonomy
Zarhachis flagellator was named by Cope (1868). Its type specimen is ANSP 11231, a set of vertebrae (two lumbar and two caudal vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is James T. Thomas estate, which is in a Serravallian offshore shelf horizon in the Calvert Formation of Maryland.
