Centrosaurus apertus

Taxonomy
Centrosaurus apertus was named by Lambe (1905). Its type specimen is NMC 971, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Berry Creek south, GSC (NMC), which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Dinosaur Park Formation of Canada.

It was synonymized subjectively with Monoclonius dawsoni by Brown (1914); it was recombined as Monoclonius apertus by Kuhn (1964).
