Shanyangosaurus niupanggouensis
Taxonomy
Shanyangosaurus niupanggouensis was named by Xue et al. (1996). Its type specimen is NWUV 1111, a set of postcrania (tibia), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Niupanggou (PROXY), which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Shanyang Formation of China. It is the type species of Shanyangosaurus.
