Macluritella multiseptarius
Taxonomy
Ecculiomphalus multiseptarius was named by Cleland (1900). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bed VI 2, Quarry by railroad track, Fort Hunter hamlet, Florida, which is in a Gasconadian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Tribes Hill Formation of New York.
It was recombined as Eccyliomphalus multiseptarius by Bridge and Girty (1937); it was recombined as Lytospira multiseptarius by Donaldson (1959), Spelman (1966) and Flower (1968); it was recombined as Macluritella multiseptarius by Wagner (2023).
