Trochomphalus dimidiatus
Taxonomy
Euomphalus dimidiatus was named by Koken (1896). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Porkuni, Siuge Member, which is in a Porkuni perireef or subreef lime mudstone/chert in the Ă„rina Formation of Estonia. It is the type species of Trochomphalus.
It was recombined as Trochomphalus dimidiatus by Koken and Perner (1925), Wagner (1999) and Wagner (2023).
