Holopea henningsmoeni was named by Yochelson (1963). It is not extant. Its type locality is Bygdö, which is in a Lasnamagi carbonate limestone in the Elnes Formation of Norway.
It was recombined as Haplospira henningsmoeni by Wagner (1999), Wagner (2023).
