Orthonema subtaeniatum
Taxonomy
Murchisonia subtaeniata was named by Geinitz (1866). It is not extant. Its type locality is Nebraska City Section, Clay Pits southeast of Nebraska City, which is in a Virgilian marine shale in the Pillsbury Shale Formation of Nebraska.
It was recombined as Orthonema subtaeniata by Bandel (2002); it was recombined as Orthonema subtaeniatum by Anderson et al. (1985), Kues and Batten (2001) and Wagner (2023).
